According to counsel Suresh Dhakad, a lawsuit has been filed under the IT Act and the Excise Act against the show's anchor Kapil Sharma and Sony TV Director MP Singh.

The makers of The Kapil Sharma Show have been charged in connection with an episode in which the show member was seen drinking alcohol while simulating a courtroom scenario. The producer of the comedy show has been accused of disrespecting the court by the complaint.

Suresh Dhakad, a lawyer, filed the case at the Shivpuri District and Sessions Court in Madhya Pradesh, claiming that the episode with the "objectionable acts" broadcast on Sony TV on April 21.

According to Dhakad, a lawsuit has been filed against the show's anchor Kapil Sharma and Sony TV Director MP Singh under the IT Act and the Excise Act. On October 1st, the case will be heard.

According to Dhakad, the comedy show has previously featured objectionable content such as crude jokes about women. He stated that he had previously approached the Collector and Superintendent of Police to file a complaint against the show's creators, but that he had been unsuccessful.

Kapil Sharma hosts The Kapil Sharma Show on Comedy Central. Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, and Archana Singh are among the cast members of the show. TKSS returned to television screens on August 21 after being off the air for almost seven months.
