Next Showing At PTC Box Office: ‘Gunaah’

'Gunaah' to be shown next at the PTC Box Office on Friday, 9th November at 8.00 PM. The movie “Gunaah” will narrate the saga of a misguided youth who suffers an intolerable mental trauma after violating the sanctity of an innocent woman.

Set in the late 1980s when Punjab was going through a state of turmoil, the story of “Gunaah” starts with the killing of a law abiding lecturer by a cop who suspects him to have connections with the terrorists. Senior Police Officer Tapinder Singh gets shocked, when he is informed by the cop that his elder son Sukhbir has joined the militants.

A group of 3 militants including Sukhbir takes refuge in the solitary house of the lecturer and forces his mother and her widow daughter-in-law to cook food for them. After the feast is over, the old lady retires to her room. After midnight, the two militants force themselves into the widow’s room and rape her. A timid but not unwilling Sukhbir is also coaxed into the act.

Before dawn, the three militants leave the place. But soon destiny starts its act of poetic justice and Sukhbir finds himself in an endless series of events which shake his mind and soul.
